Divine Humility
Viola hederacea (Australian Native Violet)
Problem: Arrogant, ego false pride, boastful, "it's all about me" subservient, overlooked, blocking new information, judgemental, controlling emotions, shame, subbornness
Solution: Open to learning, acknowledging own power and gifts, acknowledging other people's gifts, willingness to own and experience emotions, vulnerable, allowing grace to flow, to be as you really are and not as you hope to be, willingness to admit truth of unloving actions
There are three main elements to grow our soul and return to God's wholeness and consciousness - Divine Love, Divine Truth and Divine Humility.
Humility is also the most misunderstood value. Many think that by prostrating, sacrificing or making oneself small is humility. Humility is having a burning desire to be as you really are, not as you hope you are; having a burning desire and willingness to see yourself as God sees you and having a burning desire to feel and experience all of your emotions whether those emotions are painful or pleasurable.
Humility is not deprecating your own sanctity, gifts, talents and accomplishments. It is not having false modesty or falsifying for the sake of receiving praise. It is not underestimating your true worth, nor an inability to see or talk about your own or other's virtues. It is not humiliation.
True expression of humility is found in the openness to receive Divine Grace and Love to flow. The photo on the left is Daniela in the old state of humility and then she moves into her truthful state of humility. See and feel the difference. Beautiful!
