Divine Courage
Silybin marianum
Problem: Timid, victim, lacking courage, avoiding responsibility, fear of truth, fear of self
Solutions: Protective, encourages courage, ability to act and take charge, ability to meet truth
This essence was a long time coming. Twelves month ago I saw it and immediately knew that it was an important essence for Graeme as a helpful support for his migraine headaches.
As I worked with this essence I saw a vision of a Templar knight drawing his shining sword in readiness to slay the dragon, but as his sword passed in front of him, he saw a reflection of his inner demons. This helped him understand that the demons on the outside were only a projection of the demons inside. It takes courage to accept this truth.
This essence shows in its Doctrine of Signatures, that we are ready and poised to fight outside demons with much protection and swords, but it is what comes from within is the real threat. Our inner demons are the rejected pars of self that simply need our love and acceptance. Once accepted, they turn into our greatest allies.
I didn't realise until I did research on this flower was St Mary's Thistle used widely in herbal medicine for as a helpful support for liver and gall bladder cleansing. Certainly migraines have a strong connection to the liver and toxins.
This essences was made up alongside its partner, Divine Purpose with an amethyst crystal under the shelter of Divine Timing (lantana)
