Divine Ascension
Ocimum sanctum (Holy Basil) Sanskrit name: Tulsi, Tulasi

Problem: Stuck, limited, overwhelmed, closed to possibility, closed 3rd eye
Solution: One level at a time (step by step) in your spiritual journey, ability to bloom where you are, open to higher levels of awareness
The Holy Basil has a long history of being part of spiritual cultures. It is readily found around sacred temples throughout India and Asia. It has traditionally been used as a brain stimulant for alertness, new learning and awareness and is well known for its ability to expand the psychic 3rd eye chakra.
When I first saw this flower I immediately saw its association with the Pagoda temples (sacred geometry) particularly in Thailand. Each level of flowers represents a level of spheres on the ascension ladder. Currently there are 22 spheres on the Divine Love Path. Spending time focusing and working with these levels gives you the opportunity to flourish and bloom spiritually. The flower however, tells me as you ascend, you mirror the below, giving reference to "as above, so below". As you go up, you anchor more firmly to Earth enabling strong and stable foundations for you to grow.
This essence takes you to a higher level in your spiritual learning and awareness. As we unfold in our new form as crystalline multi-dimensional beings, new chakras and psychic centres form. The old structure of meridians and other acupuncture points of reference are slowly changing form. This essence is to support these changes within you as you turn into a beautiful multi-dimension diamond.
A beautiful blue bee visits this plant daily.
Tulsi is mentioned in the ancient scriptures of India. In the Padmapurana (24.2) Lord Shiva tells the sage Narada about this power:
"Oh Narada, wherever Tulsi grows there is no misery. She is the holiest of the holy. Wherever the breeze blows her fragrance there is purity. Vishnu showers blessings on those who worship and grow Tulsi. Tulsi is sacred because Brahma resides in the roots, Vishnu resides in the stems and leaves and Rudra resides in the flowering tops."
